This month, The Sheffield 1000 are delighted to donate £1000 to SEND Sundays, a welcoming community group based in the Manor area of Sheffield.

SEND Sundays provides a free, inclusive space where children with SEND can have fun, make friends and feel completely themselves. Meeting on alternate Sundays, the group offers activities and opportunities for connection not only for children, but also for parents and carers who value meeting others with shared experiences.

Our donation will support their upcoming summer activities and help fund sensory equipment and toys for the group’s new holiday club. These resources will help create engaging, supportive environments where children can play, explore and thrive.
