The Sheffield 1000 is proud to support Young Women’s Housing Project (YWHP) with a £1,000 donation, helping them continue their important work supporting young women and girls affected by abuse across Sheffield.

Run by women, for women, Young Women’s Housing Project provides a safe and supportive environment for those who have experienced sexual abuse, sexual exploitation and domestic abuse.

The organisation offers safe, secure accommodation alongside specialist therapeutic support services for young women, trans young women and biologically female non-binary young people, as well as their children.

For those facing incredibly difficult circumstances, having somewhere safe to stay and someone to turn to can make a huge difference. Young Women’s Housing Project provides not only practical support but also the care, understanding and specialist help needed to begin rebuilding confidence and moving towards a more positive future.

Our £1,000 donation will help support the organisation’s ongoing work, ensuring more young people affected by abuse can access the safety, guidance and support they deserve.

We’re pleased to be able to recognise the dedication of the team at Young Women’s Housing Project and the difference they make to the lives of young people and families in our community.

A huge thank you to all our Sheffield 1000 members for making donations like this possible.
