This month, The Sheffield 1000 are delighted to donate £1000 to the Shooters Grove Parents Association, a dedicated group working to enhance the experience and environment for pupils at Shooters Grove Primary School in Stannington, Sheffield.

Over the past few years, the Parents Association has worked tirelessly to raise funds through events and activities for the school community. Their efforts have already made a real difference, helping to create reading nooks in every classroom, encouraging literacy and providing welcoming spaces for pupils to enjoy books and learning.

Our donation will now support the development of outdoor classroom seating areas in both the Key Stage One and Key Stage Two playgrounds. These new spaces will give children more opportunities to learn outside the classroom, socialise with their peers, and take part in outdoor education in a safe and engaging environment.
