Harmony Works

1 November 2024

Hi again,

We are back with more updates thus month with another £1000 donation to Harmony Works. Harmony Works is the home of inspirational music education and opportunity, enriching and enhancing the lives and futures of young people and their communities across Sheffield and beyond. They are revitalising Canada House as a home for music education in the city.

Harmony Works is thrilled to have received the support of the Sheffield 1000 charity. “This funding will help us to run events and workshops with children and young people – the people who’ll benefit from Harmony Works – to get their ideas on how they want the finished venue to look and work. We’ve already had some fantastic input as the project has developed over the last 5 years. As we move into our detailed design phase, we’re keen that young musicians bring Harmony Works to life with us, so it’s friendly, welcoming, accessible to all and great for creating the music they want to make.”

Your £1 weekly donation really changes people’s lives in Sheffield, we couldn’t do this work without you. We will keep you updated with all the latest goings on from the Sheffield 1000 HQ!

Thanks,

Sheffield 1000
