We’re delighted to share a little behind-the-scenes look at the fantastic work being carried out by Rotherham Families First.

The Sheffield 1000 recently donated £1000 to the small, award-winning, volunteer-led charity, which supports families and individuals across the Rotherham borough who are experiencing poverty, hardship or crisis.

Rotherham Families First redistributes new and pre-loved essentials throughout the year, including clothing, baby items, household goods and toys. Their approach is all about community support rather than simply charity, making sure everyone they help is treated with dignity, care, compassion and respect.

The team have kindly sent us some photos showing what goes on behind the scenes – from sorting and preparing donations to the hard work that goes into making sure essential items reach local families who need them.

It’s fantastic to see the people and work behind the support, and we’re really pleased that our £1000 donation can help the team continue what they do for families across Rotherham.
