This month, The Sheffield 1000 are proud to donate £1000 to High Green Development Trust, the organisation behind The Campus – a thriving community and business centre serving people of all ages across High Green.

The Campus is much more than a building. It provides a home for local businesses, charities and community services, creating opportunities for people to connect, learn and access support. From activities for babies and toddlers to services for people living with complex disabilities, it plays an important role in everyday life for many local residents.

High Green Development Trust is committed to creating a resilient, inclusive community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their age, background or circumstances.

Our donation will support three important improvements that will benefit everyone who uses The Campus. The funding will help replace the community defibrillator battery, repair one of the community centre toilet blocks, and contribute towards the installation of a new disability access ramp to improve access to the community garden.

While these may seem like simple improvements, they will make a real difference by helping to keep the centre safe, accessible and welcoming for everyone who relies on it.
