This month, The Sheffield 1000 are proud to donate £1000 to Friends of Mossbrook School, the PTFA supporting one of Sheffield’s key SEND primary schools.

Mossbrook School supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. Creating the right environment is vital to help these children thrive — giving them opportunities to learn, play and develop as happy, confident members of the community.

Friends of Mossbrook School works to enhance the school’s learning environment, ensuring pupils have access to high-quality, engaging resources that stimulate their senses and support both physical and intellectual development.

Our donation will go towards purchasing artificial grass and sensory toys, helping to create safe, stimulating outdoor and play spaces where children can explore, learn and enjoy their time at school.

Pupils travel from across the city to attend Mossbrook, and for families, seeing their children come home happy after a fun and fulfilling day means everything. We’re proud to support a project that will make such a meaningful difference to their daily experience.
