This month, The Sheffield 1000 are proud to donate £1000 to Aspire Community Enterprise, an organisation that is transforming lives by bringing together community support, sustainability and opportunity.

Aspire believes in the power of people working together to create positive change. Through their innovative approach to computer recycling and the reuse of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), they reduce waste while creating opportunities for local people to learn new skills, gain confidence and thrive.

Thanks to donated equipment and the dedication of their volunteers, Aspire has become a self-sustaining organisation, reclaiming thousands of tonnes of electrical waste that might otherwise have ended up in landfill. Their work not only benefits the environment but also helps support individuals through training, volunteering and community initiatives.

Our donation will help Aspire continue this fantastic work, enabling them to support more people, create new opportunities and build an even stronger, more sustainable community.
