This month, The Sheffield 1000 are proud to donate £1000 to Amy’s House, a Sheffield charity creating safe, inclusive spaces where children, young people and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) can thrive.Through a range of specialist services, Amy’s House supports individuals and families at every stage. Their short break sessions give children and young people the opportunity to play, make friends and build confidence in a safe and welcoming environment, while also providing valuable respite for parents and carers.

Their Molly’s Mates programme supports adults with complex needs, helping them develop independence and everyday life skills, while Littlewood’s Nurture Hub provides therapeutic, child-centred education for children who are unable to access mainstream schooling.

Our donation will contribute towards a new kitchen for the Molly’s Mates adult service, creating a dedicated space where adults can develop practical cooking and independent living skills that will benefit them for years to come.
