This month, The Sheffield 1000 are proud to donate £1000 to Sheffield Futures, a charity that has been supporting young people across our city for more than 30 years.

Sheffield Futures works alongside young people to help them feel well, become active in their communities, and access the education, training and employment opportunities that are right for them. Every young person is different, so their support is tailored to the individual, helping them build confidence and create a positive future.

From their welcoming wellbeing café at Star House to counselling, homework clubs and one-to-one employment support, Sheffield Futures provides a wide range of services designed to meet young people where they are. Their team also works across communities throughout Sheffield, partnering with schools, charities and other organisations to ensure young people receive the support they need.

As demand for their services continues to grow, Sheffield Futures is experiencing record levels of referrals to its counselling and therapy services. Our donation will help reduce waiting times, allowing more young people to access the support they need, when they need it most.
