This month, The Sheffield 1000 are proud to donate £1000 to The Message Trust, an organisation dedicated to supporting young people and communities across the UK. Through their work in schools, on streets, and in communities, they help young people recognise their value, make positive choices, and build brighter futures.
Our donation will support their No More Knives Tour, which will be returning to Sheffield schools in March 2026.

 This important initiative delivers assemblies and workshops designed to equip young people with the skills, confidence, and understanding they need to say ‘no’ to knives and make safer, more positive life choices.

The Message Trust team will be visiting Notre Dame High School, Oasis Don Valley, and All Saints Catholic High School, with the potential to reach even more schools. Their sessions encourage honest conversations, provide guidance, and help young people discover their worth and potential.

We’re proud to support a project that empowers young people and helps create safer communities across Sheffield. By investing in prevention, education, and encouragement, this work is helping shape a stronger future for the next generation.
