We’re on a mission to get 1000 people donating £1 each, to support local Sheffield based charities, good causes and organisations, or individuals that need help.
Signing up is easy... Simply click the ‘JOIN’ button below.
Once you’re signed up, you’ll gain access to our
members dashboard, enabling you to donate £1 per week via standing order.
Of course! Once you’re set up as a member you’ll be able to nominate your preferred charity via the members
dashboard.
Each week a charity will be picked to receive £1000, so that’s 52 chances per year for you
to
place your nomination!
Yes! This is a charity model that treats everyone equally and gives each person, family or group a real
chance to participate and contribute.
The donation is £1 per week so everyone gives exactly the same amount of money - whatever the size of your
wallet or purse.
Our team will make a shortlist of causes and charities from the applications and a decision will be put
forward by our independent judging panel.
We will send out regular communications to all members to let them know where each week’s donations have gone.
If we didn’t reach the £1000 figure we’d give away whatever we had that week. If we raised over £1000 we
would aim to get to £2000 with a view to give away 2 lots of £1000 each week.
Any money raised between £1000 and £2000 would go to our nominated charity of the year.
Absolutely not. Our plan would be to pay for all the initial costs. Like every charity, we would have to use
a small amount of money to cover legal fees but our aim is to be as streamlined as possible.
With a nominated ‘charity of the year’, at the end of each year, all the added gift aid and additional money
will be donated directly to the charity.
Of course! Whilst our goal is to get 100 people making weekly donations of £1, we would welcome and appreciate any one-off donations made
to the charity.

Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows charities to reclaim the tax that you have already paid on your donations through UK Income Tax or
Capital Gains Tax.
Yes we can claim this back! Simply tick the gift aid box when setting up your payment details.
