Hi everyone,

September and October have been very busy months for us at The Sheffield 1000, both with donations and behind the scenes. We have recently donated the amazing Friends of Meersbrook Bank School, to help with facilities at Meersbrook Bank School. The FMBS will be putting their £1000 donation from us towards the refurbishment of their playground, which should make the children very happy!

The next phase will be going ahead in the next few weeks and will include turning a currently waterlogged bit of concrete into an Astro turf football pitch. It will make such a massive difference to how the children learn and play.

It is phase 2 of an enormous project. The total cost is £200k and with your contribution we’ve now donated just shy of £50k over 1.5 years for the work that’s been completed and is about to be.
