Another update as is it a bank holiday weekend!

We were also able to donate another £1000 this week to Baton of Hope. Mike McCarthy (pictured), the charity’s Chair was delighted to receive the donation and wanted to pass on to you the heartfelt thanks of the trustees.

Baton of Hope is dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding suicide and to campaiging for and creating real change in our nation’s approach to suicide prevention. You can find out more about their amazing work at on their website.

They will spend their £1000 on their two core activities: developing the Workplace Pledge (a kitemark of best practise for suicide prevention in the workplace) and creating national awareness through a second national tour with the Baton (in line with their objective ‘To advance the education of the public into the causes, effects and prevention of suicide.’
