Q. Where are you ?

A. We are at the Scowerdons Community Centre on Wickfield Grove , S12 4TL. We can be accessed by the number 41 or 55 buses with stops on Silkstone Road or with a walk also the 120. There is limited on street parking so please respect residents on the street when parking .

 

Q. What times are you open ?

A. We open on Tuesdays between 9.30-12.30 .

 

Q. What else do you do?

A. We provide help to those in need via self referral , we may need to ask a few personal questions in order to make sure that the help we can offer goes to those who need it the most .

A. We have a social cafe on Tuesday morning where you can come and purchase the meals (have one heated up if you wish ) , food surplus is available as are free refreshments and the chance to sit and chat with others

A. On the first Tuesday of the month a housing officer from Crystal Peaks will be available for a chat

A. On the third Tuesday of the month we have a councillor for the Birley ward .

A. The 1st and 3rd MONDAY of the month 2-4pm we host citizens advice. No appointments needed just sit and wait .

 

Q. How much do the meals cost ?

A. The frozen meals are a minimum contribution of £1 each . If you are able to pay more then please do as this enables us to provide meals for free to those in need .
