Out of work and not sure what to do? Ascend has supported over 100 young adults in Sheffield to find purpose and jobs. Our friendly team helps you every step of the way as you set new work goals and start the journey to achieving them.
Ascend is an innovative programme supporting Sheffield’s unemployed young adults to find purpose and jobs. It’s a blend of work experience, priority access to job interviews, group training in workplace skills – and crucially – individual mentoring.
Fortnightly mentoring meetings help Ascenders reflect on their journey, and figure out the next steps as they work to achieve their goals.
As a mentor, you have the full support of the Ascend team, including training and resources to help you make the most of your mentoring sessions.
